can i get a witness?

so it's official, i'm a slave to my parents ... BUT someone in the near vicinity has wireless which means and i can connect to the internet in my room ~ waa hoooo!!! it's excellent. i've been working like a dog the last couple of days - wait where does that saying come from because i know for sure that my dogs barely do much more than sleep and maybe catch a ball! anyways, we got new carpeting so it's as if we moved again, had to move all the furniture out of the rooms then back then unpack everything. but it's quite nice.

let's see ... i was sad to leave kansas on sunday, still miss it and i hear everyone there misses me! hee. had a dentist appointment this morning, went well = nothing majorly wrong with the teeth. tomorrow i leave for so cal and not exactly sure what i'm doing tomorrow night. man it's been non-stop go go go since saturday and i'm ready for a break! i guess that will have to wait until sometime next week, or maybe not because i have a bunch of projects to do around the house aside from needing to study japanese and getting my act together before i leave in exactly one month! holy crap.

splurged

this last weekend, my bro, sis-in-law and i went to a town called eureka springs ... evidently it is the san francisco of arkansas, except much much smaller. it's really a quaint town, and we stayed in this quaint cottage that was really cute!! i did some shopping, splurged on stuff i probably shouldn't have. investment, investment (that's what i keep telling myself!).

getting nervous about japan some more. there might be a chance that i wont be living in the house i thought i was going to be living in. have to wait and see. ahhh, next month! holy crazy crap!!

leaving kansas on saturday and in all honesty, don't really want to leave. i love my folks, but there's just a lot more to do out here and it's fun! actually around young people :P and i love my bro and sis. oh well, what can you do right? we've kind of talked about maybe living near each other some time in the future (after they move back to cali probably), but first japan.

oh yeah, got more bras from lane bryant and now have a total of 6 from there! i was even accepted for a card, which never happens!

damn weather

so normally i would enjoy a good thunder/rain storm. love falling asleep to the sound of it. but here in kansas, thunderstorms are always a precursor to tornados, so instead of enjoying them i'm all freaked out. and i guess tonight we are on tornado watch or thunderstorm watch or something like that. and let me tell you, this thunder is freaking loud!!! made the cat jump off the bed, that may be because i jumped though! :-P

no updates on the male situation yet and probable won't be for some time!

so, sorry for the delay in updating. i've had access to a computer, but i just feel i'm never on it and when i am, it's only to check emails :P

do you want to know about my last day at sua? well, i picked up my diploma (if you don't have it, yet it was kind of anticlimatic for me) said my good byes, got a lee's sandwhich from phat (thanks man!), and as i was driving away i stopped at the stop sign (really i did) in front of the lake and it just hit me like a load of bricks. i started crying and didn't stop until the gas station (where evidently i lost my debit card). i miss you all ~ i even had a dream that i was in a casino and won 1k and ellie was there for me to tell and then she ran and told stephanie ... go figure eh?

when i got home, i was put straight to work. not much time to sit down and watch the teli because we're getting new carpeting so i had move shtuff all around, almost felt like we were moving again.

a week ago, i arrived in kansas to visit the bro and sis-in-law and i've been having a really good time. been watching a lot of movies, going to bed late, sleeping in, and doing random stuff with the bro, like frisbee golf. doing stuff for jet and still trying to believe that i will actually be in japan again next month! holy crap! totally jazzed ann will be there too though! what else? while jack (the bro) and i were playing frisbee golf, we met up with some other people. met this one guy, brian and he's a really nice guy. actually kind of bummed that i'll be leaving town next week because i think it would be fun to hang out with him. my sis-in-law and bro think i should have a one-night fling with him ... hmm ... what do you think? haha, i don't know if i would have enough courage for that. but in the mean time, we played tennis together (with the bro) today, and tomorrow, playing frisbee golf again, and playing something else the next day. figure i'll just enjoy hanging out with him. i'll let you know of any updates down the road granted anything happens = nothing to read for a long tim ;)
