packing sucks!

yup it does ... packing sucks royally! at least when moving out of the dorm, you know you have to pack everything. and in my case, i didn't have to worry about weight limits or space or anything like that, because i could just stuff my car full of shiot and head home. now ... i'm limited by 2 suitcases and a carry on. i thought i would have problems with weight, but evidently it's difficult to pack my suitcases with more weight than i'm allotted, so no issues there. instead, now it's just about space and how to pack smartly. but i'm sending a huge box, i hope the post office doesn't look at me like i'm crazy and try to say that they don't ship things that size, but i checked! the dimensions cannot be more than 108 inches and can't weigh more than 66 pounds. my box's dimensions are like 77 inches and it weight 60 pounds. shouldn't be a problem right?

well anyways, starting to freak out about going to japan finally. it's all settling in, but still seems unreal. i kind of just want to hurry up and get there so i can get through this funky stage right now. the inbetween stage, the dude what i'm doing stage, the can't even read my harry potter because i don't have time stage :-P

oh yeah, my predecessor sent me 2 pictures of the inside of my house. as ann put it so well, they kind of look like picaso's because she stiched multiple pictures together in order to see the whole room. i'm excited, the place looks really nice and clean. can't wait to see it!!! well i guess you guys will have to wait to see it as well, for some reason they don't want to load :-P

crazy weird

so tonight we went over to my parents' friends house, and of course, we played some boulderdash. have you ever heard two answers that sound almost the same? probably. we would typically think that one of them must be the right one and one of the players just happened to know the definition of some crazy word. so tonight that happened. the word was whisersnavet, or something like that, and the definition i came up with was (probably because i had heard the definition before while playing a long time ago) the plastic cap at the ends of a shoelace. well, the answers are being read off and one of the other answers was, the plastic tube at the end of a shoelace. pretty darn similar right? in my mind i'm thinking, holy crap, did i really guess the right answer? i don't remember that word going with that definition, but by gollie i think i got it. hand on the back for me right? well low and behold, the answer was actuall a hard blow to the body. me, and my parents' friends' son (whom i had just met tonight), had thought of the exact same thing for the exact same word at the exact same time! pretty darn crazy weird! but we got all the points because everyone else thought it was it! ha!

on other news, i have a car in japan now! well going to buy it, all settled, i get it! nifty huh?

it's official

we can no longer sing in to our soka email accounts :( i was seriously thinking that they wouldn't actually turn off our accounts for some time, and if they were, i was hoping that they would officially tell us themselves instead having to hear it from another student! what is that about?! so i guess no more student emails from the dean or other random department. it's a good thing i saved my emails, i guess if you didn't email me and i didn't email you (thus i don't know your email address) then i don't need it. crap! i forgot to save the contact list of all the seniors. did any of you happen to save it?

ok, i'm off to mammoth today for more shopping! joy ... can i just sit at home for once? guess not ~ later gators.

oh yeah, thanks jessica for looking up that number. everything worked out a okay except for the fact that they charge me $20 now when they used to only charge me $10. suck butt!!
